As summer draws to a close, we continue our efforts to maintain and improve the church property. We have engaged a small local landscaping company to fertilize the lawns, and we have completed weeding and reduced several flower beds to simplify long-term maintenance. We have also contracted with a local company to complete masonry repairs to the sanctuary steps, office steps, and portions of the cemetery’s outer wall. That work is now underway.

Heavy rains caused leaks in several areas of the church. Some have been resolved, while others may require future roof repairs. These leaks appear only during the most intense rainfall. If you notice rain entering the building, please let me know so we can address it promptly.

For all work performed at the church, we continue to review payment arrangements, seek competitive bids, and confirm that completed work meets our expectations. This approach has secured better pricing and discounts for the projects described above while maintaining the quality of improvements to our facilities.
