Welcome Back to Sunday School!
We have officially begun our Sunday school classes for the 2026/2027 year! But don’t worry, it’s never too late to join in on the fun. We meet every Sunday at 10 am in the Lower Hall. Each lesson is independent so that families can come often as their family schedule allows. We are beginning the year with Genesis in the Old Testament. We hope your family can join us!
Join us for Youth Group!
We will be beginning our youth group meetings on Sunday, October 11th, during our 10 am service. This group is for youth in grades 6th - 12th. We will be meeting downstairs in the Lower Hall, in the first room on your right. We will also be meeting on Sunday, October 25th, and joining our families after each session in the sanctuary for Communion.
This year we will be exploring the kaleidoscope of feelings humans experience with our Teen Zine by Storymakers. We will see how all feelings are a gift from God, and how the Holy Spirit can use feelings to guide us through life. We will endeavor to help empower teens to recognize that feelings do not control us and how grace and traditions can help us when life feels chaotic.
Vegetable Garden Helpers
Unfortunately, due to the rain from the nor'easter in late September, we had to reschedule our garden cleanup to Sunday, October 18th at 10 am. The good news is that this date will hopefully be less wet, so everyone can join in helping get the job done. Everyone from Pre-K to 12th grade is invited to join us as we take down all the dead plants, put away materials, and prepare the beds for the winter months.
We will meet at 10:00 am in the Lower Hall Sunday school classrooms and then proceed outside to get started. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather; wear clothes that can get a little messy and closed-toed shoes that don’t mind the dirt. After washing up, we will join the congregation for Communion in the sanctuary.
Fall Youth Bonfire
Does your family enjoy the fall crisp nights, a warm fire, and yummy treats? Then join us on the evening of Sunday, October 18th, from 6 - 8 pm for our Fall Youth Bonfire. All ages are welcome to attend. Be sure to bring your camping chair, water bottle, and your adult if you are in 5th grade or below.
To make sure we have all the supplies we need to make this event a success, please click here to donate an item or two. Thank you for your support.
Trick- or- Treat for UNICEF
Fall is here, trick-or-treaters are getting their costumes ready, and you should start saving your change for our annual UNICEF coffee hour on Sunday, November 1, 2026, directly after the 10 am service. The children of St Andrew’s will be trick-or-treating with those orange boxes we have all come to know. They will collect loose change and other cash donations. These donations will be passed directly to UNICEF to help in over 190 countries and territories to help kids with access to health care, safe drinking water, and education. We hope you will help with your donation on Sunday, November 1.
