Dear Friends, I hope you all had a rejuvenating summer and are looking forward to crisper air and all of the fun things that autumn in Pennsylvania brings.
At Saint Andrew’s we are looking forward to several events this September and October to bring our church together in Fellowship, Stewardship, Evangelism and Outreach.
We start with our Kickoff Sunday on September 8th after the combined 10 a.m. service with the Parish Picnic outside featuring Jeff Herrera on the grill, Kristy Campagna and Family Ministries hosting a crafts table and all of you bringing your favorite picnic side dishes and desserts. Lawn games will be available to play at your leisure. We will have hamburgers, hotdogs and all of the fixings, so stay for lunch, fellowship and fun as we gather together to start the new Sunday School year. Your help makes a difference, so consider signing up to help me set-up the tables and chairs outside or clean-up afterwards. Please click here to sign-up to bring something, RSVP or to sign-up to help.
Our Annual Chicken BBQ is Saturday, September 21st from 2-6pm. Please visit the church website at www.standrewschesco.org to purchase tickets.
SAVE THE DATE - Sunday, October 13th 5-8 pm Join us for our Adult Fall Dinner with wines from Italy. Geoff McConnell and I are teaming up again for a delightful dinner with catering by Limoncello. This dinner will be just like last year, however, with an Italian theme featuring Italian wines that pair well with chicken marsala, meatballs and more. For $40 pp invite your friends and reserve your space for a fun evening out! This year I’m taking reservations and reserving seats for those that want to guarantee seats with their friends. Each table seats 10. Please e-mail me if you would like to reserve seats together. Tickets will be available online soon. We will sell-out at 50 seats. Complimentary babysitting provided.
Want to help with the planning? Please reach out to me by e-mail at willandjuliasanders@comcast.net as I would love to have individuals join me in Fellowship opportunities.
