Register your family for the 2026/ 2027 year

School has begun and so will our Sunday school classes and youth group events. Please be sure all your family members from 6 months to 12th grade are registered for all our Family Ministry communications and programming. Please click here. Confirmation classes

Confirmation classes are being offered with Rev’d Ben Capps this fall in preparation for the Bishop’s visit to St Andrew’s on April 18, 2027. There are two classes being offered.

First is a class for our youth in 9-12th grade which will begin on September 20th at 11:15 am. If your child is interested in registering for youth confirmation, please use the link above and register by choosing the option of confirmation in the form. Confirmation classes for the youth are typically offered every two years. Classes will run on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of every month.

The second confirmation class is for adults and will begin on September 27th at 11:15 am. Any adult interested in being confirmed should email Rev’d Ben directly at Ben@StAndrewsChesCo.org. Classes will run on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month.

Welcome Back to Sunday School!

Sunday school classes will resume on Sunday, September 20th, during the 10 am service. We offer weekly Sunday school for children ages 6 months - 5th grade in the Lower Hall (the stairwell near the office wing). Classes are offered most Sundays.

Each Sunday our Pre-K through fifth grade classes will begin with a prayer, share a Bible story, and do an activity or craft together. They will then be brought upstairs to the sanctuary near the end of the service, to join their families in time for Communion. We hope you will join us anytime your family is attending our 10 am service.

Vegetable Garden Helpers

All ages, from Pre-K to 12th grade are invited to join us at 10 am on Sunday, September 27, 2026, for our annual community garden clean-up. This past spring, our classes helped Jeff Herrera to plant the cold-weather crops to get the season started, as the beds continued throughout the summer to provide produce that was donated to the Coventry Food Pantry. Now, it is time for us to clean out the gardens so that they may rest through the cold months. Many hands will make light work, as we take down all the dead plants, put away materials, and prepare the beds.

We will meet at 10:00 am in the Lower Hall Sunday school classrooms and then proceed outside to get started. We hope you can join us, and be sure to dress appropriately for the

weather, wear clothes that can get a little messy and close-toed shoes that don’t mind the dirt. See you there.

Join us for Youth Group!

We will be beginning our youth group meetings on Sunday, October 11 during our 10 am service. This group is designed for youth in grades 6th - 12th. We will begin our meetings in the Werner Room for the start of the year and will be joining families in the sanctuary for Communion.

This year we will be exploring the kaleidoscope of feelings humans experience with our Teen Zine by Storymakers. We will see how all feelings are a gift from God, and how the Holy Spirit can use feelings to guide us through life. We will endeavor to help empower teens to recognize that feelings do not control us and how grace and traditions can help us when life feels chaotic.
