Coatesville Back to School Collection

During the summer months and VBS week St. Andrew’s collected supplies for the Bridge Academy backpack and school supply collection. In total we donated a total of 13 filled backpacks! This included 10 backpacks for the Kindergarten through 5th grade group and 3 for the 6th through 12th grade group. In addition to the completed backpacks, several other items were donated that will be combined with other donations from other locations to create even more filled backpacks.

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate this summer. Your generous and kind donations ease the financial burden so many families face at the beginning of each school year with the tools they will need to start the year off on the right foot.

Welcome Back to Sunday School!

Volunteer Sunday School Teachers Wanted

Our Sunday school program is at the heart of Family Ministries, offering a welcoming and caring space for kids from 6 months old to 5th grade. We would love to have you consider joining us as a volunteer teacher this year. Prior experience is not needed and all are welcome! If you have any questions or want to sign up please contact Kristy Campagna at Kristy@StAndrewsChesco.org.

Fall Picnic Fun

Come join us on Sunday, September 8 at our Kick Off Fall Picnic. All ages from the small to the tall are invited to join in the fun, fellowship and food! There will be lawn games available and a craft table for the kids. We look forward to starting the Sunday school year and seeing you there!

Sunday School

Sunday school classes resume on Sunday, September 15 in the Lower Hall. You may register for the 2023-2024 Sunday school when you click here. Be sure to register each child from 6 months- 12th grade.

Vegetable Garden Helpers

During Sunday school classes on Sunday, September 22 we will take the kids outside to the Community Garden where the St. Andrew’s Outreach committee grows fresh produce donated to the Chester County Food Bank all summer long. Be sure to watch the weather as the week approaches and be sure to dress appropriately for this special Sunday school day with clothes that can get dirty and closed shoes that can be in the dirt. Kids of all ages (Pre-K- 12th grade) are invited to join us to get the garden ready to be put to bed for the season.

Be sure to look for more information in the early spring when we will again be heading outside to help get the first set of crops started.
