We extend our sincere appreciation to Ken Mancini for his many years of dedicated service to St. Andrew’s. During a recent walk-through of the building to transition from the position from Ken to myself, the pride, care, and stewardship shown by Ken—as well as by generations of the St. Andrew’s community—were clearly evident. We are deeply grateful for Ken’s continued support and for the ongoing commitment of the entire Facilities Committee.
This winter brought significantly more snowfall than we have experienced in recent years. In response, the Facilities Committee removed approximately 25,000 pounds of snow from around the church grounds. We are also pleased to report that the snow blower has been fully repaired and is ready for future use.
Our annual Spring Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 25. We are thankful for the continued support of Troop 220 and welcome additional volunteers to assist with this important effort. Please mark your calendars, and consider joining us as we prepare the grounds for the warmer months ahead. To sign up, please click here.
As always, if you notice any maintenance concerns, please notify Nick Favorito or Rev’d Ben. If you are interested in lending a hand to help us care for our historic church, we would be delighted to hear from you. There is always room for new members on the Property Committee.
