“Returning to Autumn”

In September my wife and I took a few weeks away for vacation. We left in summer weather and returned in late September to find the harbingers of the coming autumn. In my absence the following items were addressed.

Last month I reported that as a measure to prevent unexpected water damage in our buildings we will be installing a water and leak monitoring system. This equipment, sanctioned by the church insurer, will alert us vis cell phone if there are any system failures that might cause damage to our building water or HVAC equipment. That equipment has been delivered and will be installed as soon as possible.

I want to thank John Strang for spraying the heavy overgrowth of weeds in the playground area. The area is now clear.

Finally, I wish to offer my thanks to the Property Committee members who stood ready to handle issues in my absence. It is very reassuring to me, and to the entire church, to have a competent team ready to handle issues that while I am away.
