Thank you to all who contributed cans of soup or donated money during the “Souper Bowl of Caring"!
The confirmation class did an amazing job planning and running the event and raised $400 to support the Coventry Food Pantry! A special thank you to Heather Kellogg for helping out in the kitchen.
As we enter Lent, I hope you take a moment to consider the ways in which you can extend your hand and God’s love to those in need. There are a number of ways in which you can do this through the church and my hope is that your involvement with Outreach grows throughout the year.
Our programs for March include:
Atkinson Men’s Shelter dinner - Saturday, March 19th (please read about our long history with the Atkinson Men’s Shelter written by Martha Thomae)
Bridge of Hope/Good Samaritan Services Easter dinners – end of March collection Separate communications will be sent out for both programs so please help out, if able. We also anticipate an Outreach Lenten Project so keep your eye on the announcements for more information!
I am thrilled to handing the reins over to Carly Landis, who I know will do a wonderful job leading this important ministry! Please give Carly your fullest support and thank you all for your commitment to Outreach and our church!
