Souper Bowl, Super Gift!

The Outreach Committee teamed with St. Andrew’s Youth to put on a fantastic Souper Bowl Day of Caring. Due to the snowstorm two weeks earlier, this year it was held on the actual Super Sunday. Thank you to those who provided soups for the event, held with the annual meeting, and all who donated cans of soup and financial support to the cause. As a

result, 173 cans of food and $114 cash were donated to the Coventry Food Pantry!

St. Andrew’s collects food and personal items year-round on an ongoing basis for the Coventry Food Pantry, which serves over 100 families within the OJR school district. Our participation in 2025 was exceptional and is greatly appreciated.

Please keep the donations coming! Consider donating canned goods, cereal, and personal items (toothpaste, shampoo, paper products, feminine products, baby products, etc.). Items can be left in the Biddle Room and are brought to Coventry on a regular basis.

The Essentials Pantry

St. Andrew’s is pleased to partner with The Essentials Pantry, which is connected with Christ Church in Pottstown. The Essentials is not a food pantry, but rather a place that serves a weekly lunch, during which time those in need may choose items essential to get them through the week. Items can be dropped off in the Biddle Room, or ordered directly from Amazon to be shipped to Christ Church. For more information and to see a list of donations needed, please click here.

Bridge of Hope/ Good Samaritan Easter Dinner Collection

Now that we have entered the season of Lent, it's time to start planning for the Bridge of Hope/Good Samaritan Easter dinners for 10 families. Items can be placed in the Vestry Room (next to the church office) or in the baskets in the Biddle Room clearly marked for Bridge of Hope so we can keep those items separate from the Food Pantry items. Hams can be placed in the church refrigerator on Sundays or during in-person office hours (Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 1pm). Please click here to review the available slots.
