Greetings Everyone!
Now that we’re somehow almost through Summer, our thoughts turn to the start of Autumn once again...
I am excited to continue working with the choir this season, and in particular, to devote my energies towards creating an ever more cohesive musical accompaniment for the services.
After a restful 2 months after graduation – which I’m grateful for after a very fulfilling, albeit tiring, senior year – I’m ready to dive into preparation for this year. I’m still in the early stages of planning, so look out for more announcements, but as always, please reach out to me via email if you’re interested in joining the adult choir: audrey@standrewschesco.org. Our first official rehearsal will be Thursday, August 29th, 7-9 PM.
As far as the children’s choir, I will consider restarting the biweekly program if there’s renewed interest (a minimum of 10 children who can consistently commit). Once again, please email me if you have kids interested. Otherwise, children are welcome to sing in the Christmas Eve services (4 PM December 24th) and Children’s Day service (10 AM June 1st 2025). There will be rehearsals for these services the week prior.
I also look forward to sharing slightly more inspired, music related articles with you at the return of the academic year. :)
