Lenten Service Project
On March 1, 2026, with the help of nineteen of our dedicated youth here at St Andrew’s, 400 Easter goodie bags were filled with candy, toys, a salty snack, stickers, and an Easter greeting to be given to the Operation 143 Backpack Program. These Easter bags will be given to students in need in six different school districts in the local area during Easter break. Operation 143 strives to follow 1 Corinthians 16:14, Do Everything in Love. They work with organizations, like St Andrew’s, to provide students with meals to help bridge the gap of food on the weekends. Our generously donated items, lovingly filled by our youth, will hopefully bring a smile and let these families know that God loves them and we are here for them. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this possible with your donations and time.
Spring Community Garden Planting
The weather has begun warming up, and Sunday, March 22, 2026, was no exception. Gratefully, the sun warmed our youth, under the guidance of Jeff Herrera, as they planted lettuce, beets, peas, and spinach in the Community Garden beds, located next to the St Andrew’s parking lot. These beds will continue to grow fresh produce that will be donated to the Chester County Food Bank throughout the summer. If you and your family would like to help maintain these beds by watering or weeding throughout the growing season, please reach out to Jeff Herrera at jherrera@hntb.com.
Holy Week
Throughout Holy Week, coloring and activity materials are available in the coloring basket of the Narthex and in the busy bins of the glass hallway. Each service offered will have its own activity. Be sure to grab yours on the way into the service, as families will be worshiping together throughout the week.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Please join us Easter morning at 11:30 am in the Upper Hall for our Annual Easter egg hunt. All children up to and including grade 6 are invited to attend. We encourage you to bring along your family and friends for this fun event!
Our youth in grades 7 through to adult, are invited to hide the eggs for the younger kids starting at 9:15 am. Due to the morning dew, a separate set of shoes is encouraged for the hiding portion of the morning. You may help anytime up until 9:50 am, when we will dismiss everyone for the 10:00 am Easter service.
We look forward to revealing our Easter bulletin board and seeing you on Easter Day!
Youth Group
Those youth in grades 6 through 12th grade are invited to join us on select Sundays as we continue our discussions about the Apostle’s Creed. We also have fellowship/ service meetings where we get together and enjoy each other’s company while doing good for others or just having fun. We hope you can join us. Feel free to come as often or as little as your schedule will allow.
