Rector's Warden's Report

A lot is going on at our small, but mighty church in Ludwig’s Corner! Below are our current Highlights, Opportunities, and Dependencies as a church.  These are just high-level bullet points and further information can be found within the individual ministry reports or by contacting a ministry leader.

Highlights (Sept)

  • Kickoff Sunday & Parish Picnic – a wonderful event for fellowship and fun as we kicked off our regular church programming. Thank you for all those involved in the planning, production, and cleanup, especially Julia Sanders for leading these efforts!

  • St. Andrew’s Chicken BBQ Fundraiser! Another year of tasty success. Thank you for all the helping hands through our volunteers, we appreciate you!

  • Welcome Back to Sunday School, Choir, Coffee Hour, and all that we missed over the summer.

  • Community Garden Cleanup: Thank you to our children and teens for assisting with preparing the garden for the winter. Special thanks to Jeff Herrera for all his efforts to support our church garden, he is a green thumb extraordinaire!

  • Special Outreach Presentation from Good Samaritan Services. Wonderful to hear from one of our valued ministry partners at coffee hour.

  • Hired a new part-time accountant, Julie Smith, to replace the outsourced service used to transition our new accounting system and modernize processes. We welcome Julie!

  • Evensong Service, Sunday Oct 20th at 7pm.

  • Fall Cleanup! Keep an eye out for our fall cleanup event to help tidy our grounds and prepare it for the winter months. Be on the lookout for the signup, we can use any and all help!

  • Spread the word and look for opportunities to invite others to our church. There are people out there searching for a church community like ours. Also, we have St. Andrew’s yard signs if you have a good place to provide some visibility and soft advertising.

Dependencies (items that impact our ability to accomplish opportunities/goals)

  • Volunteers - We need you! Please consider upcoming events to lend a helping hand. If you haven’t hosted a coffee hour, this is a great way to contribute and have purposeful fellowship time.

  • Thank you for your financial gifts to St. Andrew’s. Your pledge and regular offerings are crucial for sustaining our ongoing services and programs.
