Hello St. Andrew’s! We’ve had a wonderful start to our regular season of programs at our church and October has a LOT to offer with returning and new opportunities to engage. If you are seeking ways to connect and grow deeper relationships within our church community, the best way is to get involved. Simply jump right into some of the programs offered, or share with any of our ministry leaders about your interests so we can help get you plugged in.
Below are our current Highlights, Opportunities, and Dependencies as a church. These are just high-level bullet points and further information can be found within the individual ministry reports or by contacting a ministry leader.
Highlights
Kickoff Sunday & Parish (Indoor) Picnic on September 7th: A wonderful time as we celebrated the return of all our regular church programs. Welcome Back to Sunday School, Choir, regular Coffee Hour, and all that we missed over the summer!
Open Mic Night for musicians at St. Andrew’s continues monthly. Come and perform or simply relax and listen to a variety of local musicians. Our next event will be October 13th from 7-9pm.
Liberty Union is our new Restaurant Fundraising Partner – 15% of proceeds for meals on Sundays go to St. Andrew’s. It’s a tasty way to support our church!
Outreach – abundance of donations to the Coventry Food Pantry. Thank you to all that provided needed items.
Opportunities

Join us for a special evening of Michaelmas Evensong on Sunday, October 5th at 7pm.
St. Andrew’s Oktoberfest on October 18th is a fellowship event you won’t want to miss! This will be an evening with great food, beer/wine, music, and lots of fun. See Fellowship announcements for more detail.

Stewardship season begins! Please begin to pray and plan for 2026 pledges to support our church programs and ministries.
Fall Cleanup! Keep an eye out for signups to our fall cleanup event to help tidy our grounds and prepare it for the winter months.
Spread the word and look for opportunities to invite others to our church. There are people out there searching for a church community like ours. Also, we have St. Andrew’s yard signs if you have a good place to provide some visibility and soft advertising.
Dependencies (items that impact our ability to accomplish opportunities/goals)
Volunteers - We need you! Please consider upcoming events to lend a helping hand. If you need any guidance to align your gifts/passions to volunteer efforts at the church, just ask Rev’d Ben or a Vestry member.
Reminder to keep up with financial pledges, your gifts are important to the sustainability of our programs. Thank you!
