“A Bit of a Reprieve”

For all who read my report in August you will recall that it was filled with issues related to our HVAC system, our trash service, and our bathroom plumbing issues.

I am delighted to report that the frenzy of August didn’t continue into September. We are still working out details on our trash delivery service contract, and we did some extra clean-up for the church picnic, but that was about the extent of items that needed our attention.

That said, the fall brings with it lots of leaves, and that leads us into the Fall Clean-up! This year’s Fall Cleanup will be held on Saturday, November 1st , from 9:00 AM to noon. The rain date is the day after, Sunday, November 2nd , from noon to 3:00 pm. It really is a day that rewards us with instant gratification; the leaves are removed and we all go home knowing that our church looks its best. So come on out for the satisfaction of the effort…or some donuts and coffee. Either way, we’d love for you to be there with us.

In closing, if you see something that needs our attention, please let me know. If you’d like to be available to lend a hand in our work to keep our old church young, let me know about that, too. There’s always an open spot on the Property Committee.
