Little Things Mean a Lot
The month of February was marked by a number of repairs and fixes to everything from door knobs to light bulbs. We repaired a door, replaced a light switch, fixed a door knob, removed stains from the floor of the Upper Hall, replaced two light bulbs in the kitchen, repaired a glass on a lamp post fixture, replaced two flags, and bought weather stripping for the door to the office foyer. Our newer of our two boilers had a recurrence of a problem that happened last year. Although that may have been considered another “little” thing, the repair of the root cause of that problem will be more than “a little.”
Another thing that won’t be “little” is the Spring Cleanup. This year we will be weeding, cleaning, and mulching on Saturday April 27th from 9 am to noon. If it rains on that Saturday, we’ll meet the following day, Sunday April 28th from 11am to 2pm. The Boy Scouts will be out in force as usual, but there’s always room for a few good men…and women…to join in. Please click here to sign up. Hope to see you out there.
If you have any comments or suggestions about our property or buildings, or if you’d like to lend a hand on a project, I’d love to hear from you.
