With the holidays fast approaching, our Children & Youth spent St. Andrew's Day making ornaments to decorate the tree in the Narthex. With the help of several of our fantastic middle school and high school students, our younger students created a variety of fun and festive ornaments, which have been hung along with ornaments created in previous years. Many thanks to Kristy Campagna for leading this activity!
We are very excited to announce THREE different ways for the Children & Youth to be part of our Advent & Christmas services this year.
- The Christmas Pageant will be LIVE at the 10:00am service on December 19th. All ages are welcomed to sign up - we will find the perfect role for your child (cast or crew)! Please include any older kids who are interested in helping. We will have one practice ahead of the Pageant, timing TBD.
- We will be including Youth and Young Adult singers with our adult choir for Lessons & Carols on December 19th at 5:00pm, and the Christmas Eve service at 4:00pm. Practices will be after the 10:00am service and before Lessons & Carols on December 19th, and before the Christmas Eve service on December 24th. You can choose to participate in one or both of these opportunities! There are two songs to learn for each performance. This is best suited to children and young adults who are old enough to read. If any of our older children are up for a challenge, please let me know and we will also include them in a song with the adult choir.
Please register via the Google form by Sunday, December 5th: https://forms.gle/8QeTRxk72qcAcMecA
We are looking forward to a very merry and joyful Christmas season!
Best,
Lisa Yoest
