“A Clean-up and a Warm-up”

We had our Spring Clean-up on the first weekend in May and, as usual, the Boy Scouts carried the day. Twelve yards of mulch found its way onto the flower beds after yards of weeds and debris found its way onto composting piles. Thanks again to all you assisted and, if you see a member of Troop 200, thank him!

Some of you may have noticed that the lavatory faucet in the restroom near the sanctuary wasn’t delivering any hot water. Our long-time plumbing contractor will be coming to remedy that situation. Their technician will install a new “point-of-use” water heater under the sink. That should provide a reliable and consistent supply of warm water for washing your hands.

If you see something that needs our attention, please let me know. If you’d like to lend a hand in our work to keep our old church young, let me know about that, too. There’s always an open spot on the Property Committee.
