“Cleaning up Autumn”
Fall adds lots of “opportunities” to add to the Property Vestry member’s list to clean up. One of the most important is to schedule the Fall Clean-up. Our Fall Clean-up will be held on Saturday, December 7th from 9 am to Noon. (rain date the following Saturday, December 14, 9 to noon). Once again, we will be blessed by the Boy Scouts of Troop 220 to help us rake and blow leaves and a myriad of other items from our church grounds. Please put this date on your calendar and if you can join us, we’d appreciate your participation. Please click here to sign up.
As mentioned above, the list of items worked on was quite large. They included everything from replacing light bulbs and receptacles and tightening toilet seats, to a full re-work of the sign in front of the church. We also replaced a broken window pane in the windows between the sanctuary and the hallway, and we installed water/smoke monitoring systems in our boiler rooms and office space respectively.
If you see something that needs our attention, please let me know. If you’d like to be available to lend a hand in our work to keep our old church young, let me know about that too. There’s always an open spot on the Property Committee.
