A Happy Thanksgiving
Good Samaritan Services/Bridge of Hope
Thank you to everyone who donated food and/or gift cards towards the Good Samaritan Services/Bridge of Hope Thanksgiving dinner drive. Thanks to you, 10 families were able to have an entire Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings. Special thanks to Tiffany Zuch for organizing and leading this wonderful effort!
Atkinson’s Dinner
Many thanks to everyone who contributes time and effort to the monthly dinners that St. Andrew’s provides to the Atkinson’s Men’s Shelter. Whether it’s cooking or delivering meals, know that the residents greatly appreciate the warm meal. Please keep an eye out for our next donated meal opportunity in our weekly parish announcements. Thanks to Christine Whaley for her long term commitment to this very important program.
Coventry Food Pantry
St. Andrew’s collects food and personal items year-round on an ongoing basis for the Coventry Food Pantry, which serves over 100 families within the OJR school district. Our recent participation has been exceptional and is greatly appreciated.
Please keep the donations coming! Consider donating canned goods, cereal, and personal items (toothpaste, shampoo, paper products, feminine products, baby products, etc.). Items can be left in the Biddle Room.
Outreach Committee Meeting
An Outreach Committee meeting was held November 23, after the 10AM service. We discussed our budget request for 2026, reviewed our relationships with our partner organizations, and ideas for Christmas season giving. More to come in the weekly announcements.
Bridge of Hope - Breakfast Basket 2025
We are keeping with our Christmas breakfast baskets that were a success last year! Please click here to sign-up to provide one or more items and leave then in the Vestry room.
Please make sure to clearly mark the bag with Bridge of Hope so the items do not get mixed up with our donations to the Coventry Food pantry. If you are donating refrigerated items, please put them in the refrigerator marked for Bridge of Hope. If you sign up for bagels, please buy them closer to the deadline date to ensure freshness. Please provide all items no later than Sunday, December 21st. Thank you for your partnership as we spread Christmas cheer into the community.
If you have any questions, please contact Tiffany at tiffanyzuch@comcast.net or 610-420-8751. Thank you!
