Souper Bowl
I am not sure what I look forward to more with the Super Bowl, the commercials, or the food. Although, if I am being honest, don’t judge me, it is definitely the food, especially when you add our amazing Souper Bowl to the whole experience! On Sunday, February 2, 2025, we were treated to 10 delicious soups and rolls to spare. In addition, we were all pampered by our amazing youth who volunteered their time to serve all of us as we watched the pile of 171 items and $315 being collected for the Coventry Food Pantry. I know we are there for our Annual Meeting, but let’s all be honest, it’s the soup that draws
us and keeps us here. Thank you to the many hands that make this awesome Outreach and Fellowship event a success! Whether you brought food, drink, or donations or if you were one of the many who lent a hand speaking, serving, setting up, or taking down,
your generosity is a blessing, thank you!
Celebratory Service & Coffee Hour
Join us on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the 10 am service as we celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism and recognize the completion of our Communion and Confirmation classes with a celebratory coffee hour to follow the service.
Youth Outreach Project
The 6th-12th grade youth will be preparing a chili dinner for the Atkinson Center on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Youth are needed to prepare the food here at the church from 2:30-5:00 pm. All youth are encouraged to click here to let us know if you can help. There is also a signup sheet on the table outside of the Upper Hall for all youth interested in participating. This is a great hands-on outreach project. We look forward to working together as we help others and enjoy fellowship among our youth.
In addition, we need donations of the ingredients needed to prepare the meal. For your convenience, a signup sheet is available outside of the Upper Hall or you can click here to see what items we still need. Thank you!
Junior Church Lenten Project
We will be joining forces with the Operation 143 backpack program again this year to fill even more Easter goodie bags to celebrate the rising of Jesus this Easter. Be sure to be on the lookout for what materials we will need to make Easter a joyful experience for everyone involved in the backpack program. Our Sunday school classes and youth will be joining forces on Sunday, March 23, 2025, to put together 430 baggies so be sure to save the date and we appreciate all donations to this kids helping kids event.
2025 VBS
After a few days of temperatures in the 50’s my mind always turns to VBS! I know July seems so far away, but we need something to keep the occasional snow from pulling us back into winter. We are now taking names of those adults and youth (6th grade and up) who are interested in joining in the fun at Vacation Bible School. We will meet daily from 9:00 am -12:00 pm here at St. Andrew's from July 21 through to July 24, 2025. Please consider joining in on the fun. Parents, please keep the dates in your calendars as registration for campers in pre-K through 5th grade will begin soon.
